Underneath the joke here, there is actually something compelling to be explored. The idea of "Jinx" being so notorious that she's mythologized. The myth being a hyper exaggeration of all her infamous traits, until it strays far from what the real Jinx is actually like. A spin on the whole "League of Legends" thing. The show did attempt to play into this theme with the openings. The way Season 1's opening depicts statues carved of stone, showing them as heroes and legendary figures, then Season 2's opening depicts them as human, stripped down to their underclothes. But the show could have done much more with this than a simple joke about an enforcer thinking the real criminal mastermind would never wear circus pants.

Imagine people telling stories of the dangerous criminal Jinx, but exaggerating certain details about her. Saying her nails are long and pointed as talons, her braids drag behind her on the ground, her teeth are sharp as a shark's, her bullets never miss, she is utterly without feeling or mercy, a spectre come to haunt and destroy Piltover. Imagine Piltovians viewing her as a horror story, and Zaunites viewing her as a dark hero, their vengeance against Piltover. Of course, the real Jinx likes painting her nails bright pink, let her father braid her pigtails, has a small tooth gap, misses her shots often, and feels way too much. The idea of both cities taking this girl and turning her into a legend, stripping away all her human qualities and projecting all their own fears and desires onto her is so interesting. Jinx, Piltover's ruin and Jinx, Zaun's revenge. Instead of Jinx the human.

Imagine Jayce meeting her. He never met her in the entire show's run which I feel is a missed opportunity. She was the catalyst of so much of his story in Season 1. It was her who broke into his lab, stole his gemstone and research. She defaced his entire lab, putting her grafitti and monkey symbols everywhere to taunt him. He spent the entirety of Season 1 worried sick that she would find a way to weaponize the gemstone. Her massacre of the enforcers on the bridge traumatized and sickened him. He demanded that she be locked up in exchange for Zaun's independence. I wonder how he imagines her? Does he picture a grown woman? Someone his age or older? Someone devoid of emotion or humanity? Imagine if he finally met her, this person who has caused him so much distress, and he sees an ill teenage girl. Baby fat on her cheeks and chipped nail polish.

Vi's story could have mirrored this too, losing her own identity while her sister sinks herself into her "Jinx" persona. Feeling abandoned and betrayed by Zaun, she rejects it and falls into Caitlyn's (Piltover's) arms. Becoming absorbed and assimilated into the city, losing connection to her real roots. Piltover taking advantage of her strength and exploiting it against Zaun. Turning her into their weapon, one of their enforcers. Using her as a diversity hire, the token trencher to prove how kind and not at all oppressive the enforcers are. Vi losing her own humanity as she makes The Piltover Enforcer her new identity and lets herself be engulfed by it, the way her sister does with her Jinx identity. Both cities taking these sisters and turning them into symbols. The sisters being dehumanized but letting it happen because they feel they have no other path or that they deserve it. But underneath Jinx and Piltover's Enforcer, are two broken young women.

(BMW Wukong) HE IS ANNOYING AND LOUD AND YOU COULDN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬 it all started a few months ago when you caught this cocky little Thief stealing from your mouths fruit trees, and you were pissed. Of course, you came out with your bat, ready to bash him in his face for robbing you, until he started chirping at you, which made you freeze. You being a monkey yourself knew what that noise meant, he found a potential mate in you With a heavy blush you absolutely refused and wacked his ass of the mountain and that began a long annoying process of him trying to gain your favor. He would come back with with whatever he thought would catch your interest, from Jewels to Fancy clothes to large amounts of food, he was relentless and would also flex his muscles for you to see He just doesn't give up. After the most annoying winter of your life, spring came, but for animals and demons, it's mating season. Unfortunately, you finally decided to throw the man a bone, and of course, he messed up a perfectly good carpet😡😡😡 Wukong had to return to flower fruit mountain as you yelled at him, not to touch your fruit trees Now imagine when he got back and found your mountain covered in baby monkey cubs with an annoyed and exhausted you breastfeeding a sleeping one, he couldn't be anymore blessed ad he went over to help and kiss you.

(Destined one) He may be quiet and introverted, but he was the sweetest man you ever met. He was just on his journey, and he happened to pass your mountain, and you spotted his cute little face. You had humorously started him and giggled at his surprise Pikachu face🤭🤭🤭. He soon felt bad because he didn't know anybody was living here and unknowingly trespassed in your home, but you took none of it to heart and even welcomed him. The two of you soon introduced each other and became fast friends, and soon you yourself had an interest in him, purring into his neck as you stroked his fur. The Destined one thanked whatever God out there because he was as red of a cherry tomato with a female monkey showing interest in him. It didn't stop there two. You would bring him little trinkets and food for him even move provocatively in front of him with a blush and smile. The Destined one did not know how long he'll last until mating season came and you pull out all the stops to get him, and the final straw was when you met him at the lake he was bathing in and you(Accidentally😉) dropped your towel. THE BOIIIIIIIIIIII HAD JUMPED YOUR BONES AND ROCK YOUR HEADSPACE WITH HIS STONE MONKEY STAMINA🥵😳😍🤤 And it went on for hours. You waved goodbye at him as he had to continue his travel promising He'll be back for you, months later he was gonna introduced Bajie to you only to discover your mountain full of rowdy and happy baby monkey cubs . You welcome him home holding a baby girl who seems to be as quiet as him. Oh, what a world still a nice surprise for him.

My Monkey, My Circus

Opening Note!

So, I've had this idea farting around in my head for a while now. I don't know if it's necessarily a good idea, but it is a silly one that makes me laugh and makes me happy so…I'm writing it! There isn't going to be a plot (at least, I don't have plans for a plot) and is supposed to be a silly little slice of life thing. 

There may be some heavier topics addressed here and there when inspiration strikes me, but mostly it's just different Wukongs (and the version of you they're in love with) interacting and bouncing off each other. Even though all these different movies and TV shows are Wukong, they're all still different in their own unique ways and I want to play with what their interactions would look like! I tried my absolute best to make this as clear and non-confusing as possible by giving the different versions of Wukong and Reader nicknames, but I'm not entirely certain I succeeded. 

I do have plans for future chapters but if anyone has a specific idea or scenario you think would be fun, please don't hesitate to share! I can't guarantee that I'll add everything, but part of this idea is just having fun with Wukongs of different stories!

I do plan for different chapters to be told from different perspectives as well, so while the first chapter is from the perspective of NGNR Reader (Treasure), this is not necessarily the case for future chapters. Part of the fun of this idea, for me at least, is seeing how different Wukongs, and different Readers, would react to each other. I hope that my efforts to keep it clear who is who works and that the story is enjoyable to those who read! 

To help with clarification, I'm making this note the first official “chapter” that has the different nicknames for each universe, and if any important details need to be added, they can be.

Cracked Family AU - Family Tree, Wukong's Side

This is the family from Wukong's side, I'll do Macaque's side later, he has a lot more sworn sibling relations.

Wukong has a lot of moms. I guess he was just that adoptable ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

He is not genetically related to Nuwa. She accidentally created his stone egg while repairing the pillar when it broke the first time, that's why they have different colored relationship than the typical parent-child one.

Chūn is the reincarnation of Yin Wuming, also known as Lady Yin, Nezha's mother. Lady Yin did not ascend back to the celestial realm with her then ex husband and sons, choosing to stay in the cycle of reincarnation instead. She got reborn as a demon monkey on Flower Fruit Mountain about a century before the stone egg on top of the mountain hatched.

I went into Erlang's family because I needed Chenxiang on the board, and oh my gods, is Erlang's family a tragedy.

First his dad and older brother get killed by his uncle, who then sealed his mother under a mountain, all because his mom fell in love with a mortal. Then! His sister falls in love with a mortal and his uncle orders him to seal his own sister under a mountain and kill her husband and take her from her son. Talk about generational trauma and cyclical abuse.

I hc he's secretly scared that if he has kids, the brother will be ordered to seal his sister under a mountain for falling in love with a mortal, it happened twice before he's not risking it again. He is happy being a dog dad. And a decent uncle to his monkey brother's kid.

Wukong and Erlang become bros in Jttw, though I imagine him sealing his sister under a mountain caused some strain in their relationship, I feel like Wukong might take that personally. Maybe that's why he taught Erlang's nephew how to kick his ass really hard.

And adopted said nephew. Chenxiang was like 8 when shit went down, monkey brain said "cub has no parents, it's free real estate".

Nuwa is the Jade Emperor's sister in some myths, and I had fun(angsty) ideas with it so I'm using that, but because Nuwa is big snake, and Jade Emperor is presumably something similarly reptilian, they would probably only know that they share a mother, because that's how reptiles work, hit it and quit it. So they are at best half siblings.

Guanyin being the reincarnation of one of Jade Emperor and Xiwangmu's daughters is a fun idea I've seen from @quitealotofsodapop, and it's more funny to me cause she and her sister's reincarnation adopted the same chaotic monkey at different points in his life. So I'm rolling with it.

What is V!wukongs back story?

Ya guys always ask good questions that i have no capability to answer to cuz my writing is shit skksks alr, buckle up , that might be long one and i'm gonna use my dear friend's short recap of this damn gotta put it in some order alr- The story starts with that he and his Mac were married/mated (yes, that's ofc shadowpeach based-) After the Havoc his Mac didn't left him under the mountain but stayed there all the 500 years to protect him from the mountain gods that tried to punish Wukong more . When trippy goes to free him ,Wukong wants to redeem himself so heaven will leave them alone - he goes with the monk , Mac goes back to the FFM , to protect it and wait for Wukong. The Heavens ofc don't play clear so the circlet was in fact cursed - And when it was used to punish Wukong , uh well, Mac was around and tried to stop Trippitaka. It didn't turned out well and Wukong attacked Mac because of the circlet . Mac fled, and when Wukong is back to himself pretty much rage overcome him , he kills the pilgrims. With the circlet (it was all the time activated during that time) he went to Diyu- just to find Mac . HOWEVER he doesn't find him there cuz he's not dead, just injured. He finds the scroll instead, uses it to get the info how circlet works and how to take it off. He find out where Mac did fled too. When he finally finds him, he cries his eyes out apologizing, they reconcile and go back to the FFM. Heaven want to punish Wukong again , obviously but before they can -Nuwa herself turns him into stone . To protect him from heaven's wrath. Aaaand weakened Mac is left alone again , protecting him. Waiting for him to awaken. And then Lady Bone Demon appears! because this monkey would do a fine power source in that stone state. Mac trying to defend him is being ereased from the world by LBD . Wukong after reawakening tries to find his husband unsuccessfully He goes to heavens, diyu , searching everywhere he could , because he would not know that Mac is truly gone, beyond rescue . His anger reaches much higher, Now all the higher principals against him, they would still try to bring him down cuz Wukong would go mad with pain and grief This time they wouldn't succeed , Wuk would bring them all down , gaining the power , and creating perfect opportunity to world to just fall apart. He might've eaten some gods n pilgrims along the way so he is even more powerful than ur usual wukong so- rip Half canon thing (Myth if you must-) is that he beheaded himself a few times in the meantime, each head creating a new body and going search for their Mihou in different universes (sheer excuse for RP in different universes-)

SOME ADDITIONAL STUFF ABOUT THE MYTH!

Nüwa & Fuxi, and MK:

As a slight break from the emotionally heavier AUs; I would like to introduce y'all to a silly idea I had after watching Season 5 + an Au idea.

Now that Nüwa is a confirmed entity in LMK, I had ideas of what her counterpart/mate Fuxi would be like.

If Nüwa can be considered Mother Nature, then Fuxi is the Father of Invention. Folktales typically credit Fuxi as the inventor of nets (from watching a spider catch prey in a web), the Eight Trigrams and Five Elements from the world around him etc...

Many tales depict Fuxi as another half-snake/naga-like creature as Nüwa, possibly even her twin brother. Though the genetic connection is believed to be a case of mythological syncretism with another creation myth.

As much as the imagery of two snakes coiled around each other is cool af; I personally think that maybe Fuxi's true form is that of a creature close to Nüwa's heart and mythos.

One particularly interesting depiction I found has Fuxi as a man draped in many furs.

So what does Fuxi look like in my idea? Well...

A big ol' proto-human hominid who helped his primordial creator goddess-wife figure out the design of what would become the humans of the Asian subcontinent.

Nüwa was the sister of the entity that would become the Jade Emperor, and was born with a marvellous ability to create life from clay. However, her creations were terribly flawed. Not in a quirky "everyone is a little different"-way flawed, but completed unable to survive in the wild or reproduce.

Meanwhile on the chaos-stricken Earth, a young Pleistocene monkey-man has been inventing up a storm of things that can make his people's lives easier!

The two have a fateful encounter, and it's love at first sight.

Nüwa shared the knowledge of the Heavens with Fuxi, while he in turn created methods to strengthen her clay creations and teach them means of survival.

For a while the clay creatures still could not reproduce on their own - they had to ask Nüwa directly to create a new figure if they wished for progeny.

One day Fuxi saw the little clay monkeys sad over their lack of offspring, and handed them a small rock.

"This is an egg. When it hatches, you will have your cub."

The clay-made monkeys hooted excitedly, cradling their "Eggs" as if they were delicate newborns. The gesture was only meant to act as a placebo until their creator could create a brand new figure.

But one day the rocks started hatching...

Nüwa: "My love! I figured it out! The clay I was using wasn't fertile enough! If I create the next generation from the clay along the Yellow River then they should- EHHH!?" (*The clearing is full of delighted clay monkey couples. Each one hugging and kissing an infant monkey, surrounded by shards of brightly-colored rock*) Fuxi, shrugging: "I guess I found a way too?" Nüwa: (*giggles excitedly and wraps around her mate in a tight embrace*)

Despite how smoothly the first rock-born monkeys came to be, they were still created from inert material unlike Nüwa's later creations. And they had a much harder time passing on their genetics. Stone Eggs aren't exactly efficient to form and carry. But the creators did have fun creating new ancestral lineages from different types of gemstones! Nüwa's favourites would always be Fuxi's original "stone-born monkeys" though.

Sadly, with the destruction of the Fifth Heavenly Pillar, the Great Flood irreparably destroyed many of Nüwa's creations. Her beloved stone monkeys among them.

And possibly even taking away her mate....

So where does MK fall into this?

Easy.

Despite creating many clay figures together; Nüwa and Fuxi had no biological children of their own. Their differing species, and the disgust from Heaven at their bond, meant that any natural progeny was next to impossible.

Except...

The Goddess laughed at the bitter irony. To leave the last trace of her mate behind in order to uphold the Pillar. For her and Fuxi's child to be the one to herald the breaking of the cycle.

Before the Guardians are entrusted with the Five-Coloured Stones, Nüwa kisses her baby goodnight and puts them to rest inside of their stone cradle - the only egg strong enough to keep them safe.

LMK fic au idea

Welp im not good writing fic and my ideas are riots

@quitealotofsodapop and I made an au about the Monkey King's children: Paramita, Sun Luzhen, Yuebei Xing, Jidu and Luohou.

This happens once Wukong finishes his journey and returns home, helping with the reconstruction of the island, mainly because he starts to feel lonely especially for what happened with his partner Macaque. And one of the things he always wanted once the war was over is to be able to have a family with his beloved but this couldn't happen so he will do it with his own hands in the style of Nuwa, he would create clay eggs and even find a hidden one and from there his children would be born.

Paramita is the firstborn and heir to the throne of the kingdom of the mountain of fruits and flowers and Alolai being the serious of all his brothers and the most elegant of them, he has an elegance that his father lacks but that will not make him less lethal on the battlefield; he is the general of the kingdom's army and has on his shoulders the expectations of the kingdom as crown prince.

Sun Luzhen in his canon is Wukong's twin brother who had taken so long to hatch, and the second to be born when he was found, the king had adopted him as his own son, He has an energetic personality like a showman, He is now a version of Porty light, he is a professional musician and has worked in various musical genres, even in large industries making soundtracks for various movies or video games under an alias.

Yuebei Xing, the only daughter of the monkey king, is daddy's little princess, with a tough character and a very bad temper, with an enormous and muscular build that makes her completely intimidating, but under the dark shell she is a monkey who loves her family and her brothers, she was born with a cleft lip of which she only has a scar, she is a renowned paleontologist in her field who loves her job, she has always loved digging up bones since she was little.

Jidu and Luohou they are mischievous twins who like to cause trouble like their older brother Luzhen, who love theater like Macaque and dedicate their life to that art. Jidu is a comedian in various stand-up comedy shows while Luohou is an actor in musicals and has participated in many.

Wukong wanted to experience the possibility of having children by modeling in clay that he created 4 eggs, by the time he found the stone egg of Luzhen he found that the Paramita egg had already hatched and in time only the eggs of the others would hatch turning Wukong into a tired father of 5 energetic children.

Rumors of his existence abounded, especially the fact that Paramita was the son of Princess Iron Fan, which was never lacking (Paramita could never find the author of that aberration in the book and if he had, he would have pulverized it). This rumor was born because he and Red Son WERE childhood friends and a possible marriage union between them was expected (Like Odette and Derek in The Swan Princess). Now their parents wanted them to marry for love like they did, but then the thing at the mountain happened and they lost contact.

Paramita as a cub: "This is my best friend Red. When we grow up, we'll get married and have an island to ourselves!" :3

But that is if the day they meet again they shout with joy and hug each other like little kids who haven't seen each other all summer.

The rumors of the monkey king's children grew to be illustrated in the non-canonical sequels of the journey to the west and at that time they were just children, but due to the isolation of the monkey king the rumors of them became a myth until their existence was doubted, making the shadow of his father grow…

MK would meet the children of the monkey king in ''A hero is born'' is when he lands on the beach of Huaguoshan Island and they were the monkeys in disguise (Headcanon the common monkeys are glamours of yao monkeys)

Making them lose their glamour and scare MK even more until Paramita has to take control of the situation by lining everyone up.

After the initial scare MK asks them to take him to the monkey king and leave them alone; Now you might be wondering why the monkey king would need a successor? Simple, because Wukong has empty nest syndrome.

For the events of season two Paramita and his brothers will be in charge of MK's training so he wouldn't be so far behind and if they would be aware of LBD.

When MKang finds out about their existence it will be at the end of this same season especially when Pigsy is yelling at Wukong and oh boy, if there is something that Paramita does NOT tolerate at all is that HIS FATHER IS INSULTED (He's a daddy's boy)

Pigsy: You're supposed to be his mentor! Paramita: "Excusr me!? He raised five children as a single parent!" HE IS ANYTHING BUT A LAZY MAN WHO DOES NOTHING, DAMN SERVANT!!!

Paramita was millimeters away from beating Pigsy up, he will defend his father's honor knowing how introverted he is and will let that insult pass (He will fight even in mud to prove his point), his brothers would be pulling him to avoid the chef's announced death, even Yuebei has a hard time doing it being the strongest of all her brothers.

(BMW Wukong) She has heard stories of the tall monkey man in red, because their are so many Phenomenas happening around you. So of course you peaked Wukong's interest as she would follow you around and observe you. With her observations she immediately noticed you rather unusual but super impressive abilities and powers. You can life large carts and break though mountains, you can spin and make tornadoes and hurricanes. You run so fast you can break the sound barrier and spit the ocean in half, Wukong grew more and more curious and baffled at the bazaar events and you were also very strong, tall and muscular with a Fierce protective side and she's not sure on how to calm down. The final thing to win that won her heart was the reveal that you were actually an incredibly OP demon with a storm God kaiju, as you would level war zones with a psychotic smile. Wukong could no longer handle it and just felt her underwear drop as she ran over chirping and kissing your face, as you cooed and kissed her back happy to win her over.😘🥰

(Destined one) The destined one immediately thought you were hiding something from her, because you cannot BE THAT FRIENDLY. You were a sweetheart to everyone in the village as you were always helping around and smiling at everyone, it made her quite suspicious so she kelp an eye on you as she stayed with Bajie in the village. Though you remain civil and kind and would Romance Circles around her, every time you both would meet. The Destined one never stops blushing whenever you do that, but what truly gets her was how powerful you smiling self was. She has watched you breakthrough mountains, spit seas, clear the skies just by blowing it and the list went on and on and on. The final bit being you growing into your Storm god kaiju and it was then the destined one's suspicions and mild fear of you vanished, into thin air as she grew into her own stone giant form and you both started to make out with each other. You had finally won your true loves heart👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨.
